Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN)
An Amazon Standard Identification Number is a 10-character alphanumeric unique identifier assigned by Amazon.com and its partners for product identification within the Amazon organization. This identifier is required by Amazon, meaning all products that are put into Amazon must have an ASIN. This identifier will carry across both Amazon and Doba’s platforms.
Universal Product Code (UPC)
The Universal Product Code is a barcode symbology that is widely used in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries for tracking trade items in stores/online platforms. The UPC consists of 12 numeric digits that are uniquely assigned to each trade item. This identifier is required by eBay, meaning all products that are put into eBay must have a UPC.
Manufacturer Part Number (MPN)
MPN’s are used to uniquely identify a specific product among all products from the same manufacturer, and consist of a series of numbers and letters.
Stock Keeping Unit (SKU)
A Stock Keeping Unit is a unique numerical identifying number that refers to a specific stock item in a retailer's inventory or product catalog. The SKU is often used to identify the product, product size or type, and the manufacturer. Each product variant will have it’s own SKU- i.e. each size, color,
Item ID
This is specific to Doba. This Item ID will not carry over into any other platform or database but can be used within Doba to find product.
